Day 2 Commonwealth Games


This morning saw the 100m breaststroke heats at the Tollcross aquatics centre. Ross qualified comfortably with the second fastest time of 1:00.6, with Adam Peaty leading into the semi finals in a time of 59.47.

With 10 swimmers qualifying in a time of 1:02.0 and less, it is looking to be a highly competitive semi final this evening; all athletes pushing to make the 8 spots in tomorrow evenings final.

This evenings semi final is due to start at 20:05.
