Glasgow saw the end of the 2014 Commonwealth Games this Sunday with a fantastic closing ceremony inside Hampden Park.
The BBC caught up with Ross at the stadium before the start of the closing ceremony where he discussed the past couple of weeks at the games,
"The last couple of weeks have been life changing for me, its such a privilege for me to be here. The atmosphere has been incredible, and a massive shout out to all the Scottish fans who have been in Tollcross and the other venues, cause they have been amazing"
It was also revealed that Ross' performances had led to Hazel Irvine introducing a new Glasgow word to the lexicon: Murdoch. n. a wondrous, unexpected event.
After celebrations, Ross head back to Stirling to start training and focusing on his next competition, the European Championships, which start on the 13th August, just one week from now in Berlin.
Information and tickets are available on the European Championships website.
