Ross has been talking with the media regarding his Winter illness and how it affected him, but crucially, didn't deter him from having a strong season. Soon Ross will be competing in Russia at the World Championships in the 100m Breaststroke after just missing out on the 200m, his preferred event.
"This will be a chance to go out there and do the 100 and then next year I can really go for a fast 200. This summer is about improving the front end of my swimming. I want people to consider me dangerous."
Despite everything, Murdoch is still keen to let his opposition and the world now what he has to offer,
"With Russia, it is not the Commonwealth or the Europeans, it's against the whole world and I want to people to pay attention to me."
